After reading Women of Faith's Blog today and enjoying Patsy Clairmont's refreshing sense of humor I can relate to a Life that is All Cracked Up. She had discussed how enduring in an intimate relationship with Christ will give you strength to endure the crushing blows that life throws us. A few things come to mind that have been on my heart....
I do not know about you all; but I do know that waiting is a real challenge and it is becoming more of a challenge for our younger generations. Technology today has and is teaching our younger generations that we need everything right now. How is this reality effecting our younger generation's belief and relationship with Christ. Generation after generation we experience our lives journey and the circumstances that can hinder the connection with our Lord Jesus. For example; trust issues relating to a parent that has let you down, feeling self sufficient, being a person that is used to "right now" or I will take care of it myself and there are many many more. I am sure you can think of one thing right now that hinders the development in your relationship with Christ.
Getting past the hindering effects of our circumstances and the world around us opens the door to the Grace and Peace that our Lord has to offer us. This allows for His answered prayer in His timing that displays pure victory over every situation. I challenge you today to take a look into your own life and discover the intimate details that hold you back in your relationship with Father God.
People are hungry!! Hungry to fulfill the emptiness in their lives with everything under the sun that just clutters up their closets. I believe this uncluttering will get harder and harder for the younger generations as they try to dig their way through all of the fast pace living that we are used to and the "right now" perspective. I pray for God to make a way to recondition our hearts and thinking. We need to impact our younger generations. I pray for God to make a way that the hindrances in our lives do not replace the quiet times we need to self discover and indulge in the FREEDOM of our salvation and to pass it on. I pray for discernment to realize that the best things in life are worth waiting for!
Be blessed today and may Gods favor pour over your life! You do not want to miss what God has to offer you!!
